Visiting Arowana fish’s pond.

Farmers complained about the heavy rainfall at the end of the year and the gradual increase in fish mortality.

In fact, we carefully analyze the water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, hardness and other indicators which do not meet the requirements of the arowana’s normal growth that will greatly increase the probability of the arowana’s disease.

In fact, the optimal pH value of arowana is between 6.4-6.8, and the hardness is slightly lower than 8, generally 45-50 tons of mud pool water, 20×50 feet-20×60 feet, we all discuss the importance of prescribing the right medicine.

Arowana suffering from enteritis will excrete sticky feces, or stick to the anus in white strips. Sick fish sometimes have abdominal swelling. In severe cases, the appetite will be completely lost, and the anus will be swollen and bleeding.

Pathogens are generally bacteria, molds or parasites. If fed bait with pathogenic bacteria or spoilage, bacteria or parasites will enter the intestines of arowana with the bait. If the dragon fish resistance is low at this time, it will cause this disease.

Of course it also includes human factors.

Technical reasons such as stocking density, polyculture status, breeding management, fishing and transportation operations.

Farmers also told us very consciously, because they often use some chemical sterilization and insecticides. The water quality began to become less than the ideal condition. But I can’t use it, because I don’t know how to solve it.

We also share the importance of improving the water environment, and add some vitamins and immune preparations to the bait, and add some probiotics to deal with parasites, and the combination of external and internal probiotics to improve water quality, adjust pH, Heavy metals, reduce harmful toxin content, etc.

During this visit, we also took some water samples, tested some basic water quality, and continued to discuss suitable solutions. We hope that we can share the symptoms and root causes with farmers.
